What makes your lessons better than others?
Other teachers use generic method books. I have written my own curriculum that is custom tailored to the individual student. Everyone is different, there is no one size fits all method of teaching.

Where do you teach the lessons?
Lessons are taken at my private studio.

Can I attend the lesson with my child?
Absolutely! My studio has plenty of room for guests to sit in on the lesson. There is also a waiting area outside the studio with cable TV and free wi-fi internet access, ask me for the daily WEP key when you arrive.

Which is better, private or online lessons?
Although nothing can take the place of one on one private lessons. The online lessons we offer are an alternative to private lessons for those who cant make it to private lessons weather it be due to your location or schedule.

What about group lessons?
Although one on one lessons are better, group lessons are available for friends or family members that want to share a lesson. Group lessons are one hour long and have special rates. Contact me for more information.

I’m just starting out, what kind of guitar should I get?
That all depends on what styles of playing you’re interested in. The basics are the same no mater if you get an electric, acoustic (steel string), or classical (nylon string) guitar. You don’t have to spend a lot of money to get something to start out on. There are many beginner guitar packages starting around $100.00 that would be fine to start out on.

What if I get sick and can’t make it to my lesson?
It is up to my discretion to give credit for missed or canceled lessons that will be handled on a case to case basis. Lessons canceled with at least 24 hour notice will be given the opportunity for a make up lesson in an available time slot.

What if I want to take hour long lessons?
Hour long lessons are available under certain circumstances. Contact me for more information.

Can I purchase lessons for some one else as a gift?
Gift certificates are available year around, contact me for more information.

I don’t live in your area and I want private lessons, can you give me any advice in what to look for in a teacher?
Things you should know before picking a teacher are;
Can the teacher pass a criminal background check?
What kind of success have other students had?
How long has the teacher been teaching, what kind of experience do they have?
Are they licensed? Are they NAICS certified?
